Not a good sign for ND, they started practicing way too early. Bama won't start until the Dec 18th, to avoid burn-out and to have the players fresh.

I'd start the same day Saban starts just to be safe. After all, Saban knows best.

Like all good things, eventually it will come to an end...
Saban's recruiting bandwagon will start to show the cracks one day, many will get tired of being on the bench for 2-3 years just to play and realize they could have started much sooner elsewhere!...
It'll happen, just wait... these young guys don't have too much patience these days!...
I see for the NCG, a 50/50 battle!...

Don't hold your breath on Saban slowing down in recruiting. Everywhere he has coached in college, he has been a top notch recruiter. Alabama is a recruiting machine with its elite history and tradition, plus it is located in a region surrounded with many five and four star recruits.
Saban's recruiting level is so high right now that Jack Del Rio's son Luke turned down full scholarship offers at Oklahoma St and Oregon St, just to walk on at Bama to play qb.

So yeah only delusional haters of Bama would think Saban recruiting would fall off. All evidence point to the contrary, and anything else is just wishing thinking on the part of those who hope to see Bama's dynasty end.

What is going on right now, has nothing to do with what I said. I said, one day! Nothing ever stays the same! It never has!... All in due time... What planet do you live on?... Breath through your nose, your losing oxygen to your brain! Next time be more careful when reading my posts!...
Your reading comprehension level is dwindling...
I don't hate Bama!... I just don't have tolerance for temporary braggarts!...

lol One day the world is going to end too. Useless, meaningless, broad statements are not that hard to make. Your silly notion that one magical day Nick Saban will stop being an elite recruiter based on nothing but your whim is a fantasy dream. Saban will always be an elite recruiter along with the likes of Urban Meyer, Les Miles, and even Bob Stoopes until they decide not to retire or leave for the NFL.
Bama is one of a handful of institutions that will always get good recruits no matter the coach, ie. Texas, Mich, USC, Ohio St, OK, Notre Dame. Barring significant recruiting sanctions these schools are always near the top historically in recruiting year after year.
But saying that one of the greatest recruiters of all time will someday somehow just stop getting good recruits anymore, is close to the most ridiculous statements ever made on here. (And given some of the statements made by Major Seahawk, that's really saying something.) Especially considering that he is the only active coach with three championships already and numerous players in the NFL, two things that are always highly impressive to potential recruits.
Stop embarrassing yourself, please.

The only fantasy here, is where one would assume that things don't change. No fault of Saban... He and many D-I coaches have interviewed and talked about this aspect of coaching a big program. It does not encompass just the recruiting, coaching and presto, there you have a NC!... The reality entails the challenges of getting not only the talent in 11 starting positions on either side of the ball, but the right combonations of 11 talents to find cohesiveness to win out every game in a season!... Bama hasn't won out undefeated in at least the what?... Last three seasons? Despite what Saban and the Tide have achieved in recent years is spectacular... Change does not occur in just one magical day, you and I both know that, there is always another Johnny Football coming somewhere and there will always be a team of destiny to win out here and there!... That can and will occur in beating a SEC team at some point... Maybe on January 7th, 2013!... Who knows?...
Recruiting is just the enitial task and the undeveloped phase of creating a Top National Team every season. Now granted there are players(recruits) that in terms of athletic and skill ability, you can't coach(teach), cause they are gifted from heaven to begin with, such as the likes of a player with Johnny Football... You know in case you didn't notice, it happened on that elite sacred ground in Tuscaloosa this season... Did you hear about that?... That wasn't fantasy!... Right there is proof, it has nothing to do with recruiting... 22 starters on both teams and 60 minutes of ball!... Next season, 22 different personel combonations in positions with a crack at each other for another 60 minute game... It is a combonation of recruiting, player development, coaching and need to add the tangible and intangibles(unexpected's i.e., injuries) that influence the entire relevant and very real enviorment for any program, let alone even getting to appreciate the opportunity to get to the NCG!...
Think about that!... Something is starting to tell me that your incapable of that!...

Everything you just stated above is completely irrelevant to this discussion, because your following quote is directly the only issue I have been responding too.

You stated that foolish declaration and now you went on and on babbling about basic football knowledge that everyone agrees with, in a futile attempt to skirt around and distance yourself from your again ridiculous statement.
There is no evidence, no proof, nothing at all to suggest that Saban will stop being an elite recruiter until the day he retires. If anything all evidence points to exactly the opposite that the rich gets richer. The continue success of Saban and Bama will only attract more five star and four star recruits. Everybody wants to play for a winner and be able to display their talent on the national stage.
So again if you are intellectually capable and not trying to hide or confuse the issue, defend your laughable quote

That is nothing more than a mere fantasy delusional dream, with the absence of any logic.
