The way Wisconsin played tonight, one would think they should have rolled through the mediocre Big Ten. Wisconsin's loss to Oregon State now looks forgivable but their conference play was certainly uninspired.
Nebraska is a strange case. They won 10 games but gave up 63 points or more twice. This is the team that calls themselves the Blackshirts because of their defense. And the Big 10 was at its lowest point in years. I think if the Huskers were in the Big 12 about a half dozen teams would have put 50+ points down on Nebraska. But at the same time they had a few well played games, which is why I say they are a strange case.
