Perhaps you would have beat me or perhaps not. I did terrible those first 3 weeks. Those are the hardest to pick because we haven't seen teams play yet. I congratulate you on a good effort when you got to it, but no way I'm assuming you would have beat me. It would have been a very close race most likely.

As I recall I got 4 right in each of the first 3 weeks and finally 6 in week 4. I did't get to .500 until week 6. Then I got on fire at precisely the same time period as you, Vest. Again good job, but I am your regular season winner, and not a mythical one. I'm not taking this that serious, its just a game based on games. I'm just setting the record straight.

Haha, I could have at least kept pace through those first few weeks. I'm sure LSU/Washington, Bama/Michigan and Oregon/Fresno were toughies.

I'm just giving you a hard time, relax. Besides, bowl season is put up, or shut up. We've seen the teams play and have some tough match ups. Good luck to you.

Btw, keep the three, you'll need them. Picking based off lines is my main issue anyways.

Your right I should take 3. Its kind of a stupid move to give up an advantage that I earned. I still don't know exactly how I get my 3 free picks.

Let me just say that I like the idea of picking with lines, but if Vest or anyone doesn't want to do it with lines I would be happy to just pick winners as well. I just want everyone to be content enough to at least play. I want some good competition.

That said, if we do choose to bet against the spread, I say we give it 5 or 6 days for the lines to settle from opening to a more stable set of lines that won't change much. I think the best way to get the lines is by going to VegasInsider.com which shows all casino's spreads, most of which are the same but there are slight variations. The average of all of them is easy to get for our purposes. But Sparty if you have another method in mind, do your thing.

Lines or not I don't care, I will win either way. I'm at least 80% sure that I have a better than 50/50 chance.

Leave an asterisk next to the picks you don't want counted against you. Or you can just bold both teams for the three specified games.
