You'll claim them now, and that this means the SEC is better than the Big 12. Are the ACC and BE now better than the SEC? Give me a break. Don't be ignorant, and congrats to A&M.
Not directed at anyone here, just what I'm seeing from social media.

If you were honest in your criticism, then you would have stated that no one except die hard A&M fans predict them to have this level of success in the SEC. For having a new head coach, first time starter at qb, and playing in the toughest conference, A&M greatly exceeded the expectations of most people.
However, the main point is that SEC fans that I know quickly gave A&M respect once they saw them play close games against FL and LSU, and of course beating Bama on the road. Late in the season as evidence by the posters here, Big 12 fans refused to acknowledge that A&M was a much improved team from 7-5 last year.
Also as I mentioned weeks ago, Oklahoma fans in particular tried to discredit the accomplishments of Johnny Football claiming that he was just being hyped up because of playing in the SEC. All you have to do is look back at the heisman thread to see those statements.
Also Big 12 fans and others called A&M chokers and claimed that Oklahoma knew how to handle that offense.

I for one and I could easily point you to my posts, said that it wasn't A&M scheme on offense but it was Johnny football's playmaking ability as evidence in Oklahoma game.
So you can't have it both ways, if A&M had lost especially like Oklahoma did in embarassing fashion, all SEC fans would hear would be how the Big 12 is better and so forth. Also its more than one game, I have been saying all year long that the Big 12 did not have one impressive win out of conference, not one win against a top 25 team OOC during the regular season. Now they have a 4-5 bowl record with the Big 12 champ and Co champ being humiliated in their biggest bowl matchups.
