I'm going with A&M 42-35. No offense to OU or anything, but A&M has seen better defenses.

In fact, I honestly don't think OU can keep up with A&M. They'll stick around for a while but A&M will get the better of them eventually. Should be a high scoring game for either team, however, I think A&M's defense deserves more credit. They aren't BAD.

Your thoughts?
OU has seen better defenses too!

aTm's Offense?... Let us see how the absence of the Aggie OC plays into this Sumlin game plan...

Lol, I like how him leaving has give you so much confidence now! Where was this talk when he was still here? Aggies will want to finish this season on a good note. Expect nothing less than A&M's best.

lol This is so funny. A&M were the champions of all the Big 12 fans once they beat Alabama, now OK fans are trying to discredit them. lol typical Watch the Aggies put 50+ on chOKeLAHOMA.

You have got to be kidding. A&M struggled to beat Ole Miss and La Tech. Teams that win the Big12 don't do such things. UT beat the snot out of Ole Miss in Oxford and they were what 3rd to 5th best in the conference. A&M was able to sneak up on some SEC teams which aren't used to seeing passing offenses but that is very common in the Big12. A&M would have not had the same level of success. I am sure they could still score points but so could the rest of the Big12 and that would result in them losing at least a couple games along the way. That being said, A&M does have a good team and could certainly beat OU. However, that doesn't make them champions of the Big12 as there are a number of teams in the Big12 who could beat OU on any given day. Parity is alive and well in the Big12.

Default What a Revelation...

Interesting... I have been talking about parity for like the last 10-12 years. On any given day, anybody can be beat and just as aTm did to Bama!

JD has a legitimate perspective on what is transpiring in CFB, more than the two of you! What JD is saying here, is the absoulute truth! Thing is he just beat me to the punch with his early post before I could say it!

I find Aggie's post on the other related subject thread of this one to be even more compelling!

His post there really enlightens me as to where the aTm majority of credit might really belong to! At least, his thoughts might be indicitive of how the Aggie Nation really thinks!...

My opinion has not changed about this Bowl game and it still should be a good one! However, after the fact of now a very successful OC leaving, how much proven tangible and articulate game play calling will be sustained in this matchup?

Guess we will soon(er) see!...

A&M would have gone 9-0 in the conference had they stayed. Texas, K St, and Okl are not that good.

LOL, no they wouldn't of. It is not a coincidence that the teams that can throw the ball gave A&M trouble (Ole Miss, La Tech). Just about every team in the Big12 can do this and do it better than those teams. Stop drinking the koolaid. A&M feasted on the SEC because it is down with teams like Auburn and Arkansas virtual no shows and that conference is not used to defending the pass and doesn't have the offensive passing game to attack A&M's suspect secondary. In the Big12, almost all the teams are designed to do this as they are not run oriented save KState and Kansas. If A&M was really as good as you think they are, they wouldn't have gone 6-6 last year. Also, with them leaving the Big12 it got tougher from top to bottom than last year.

All teams have bad games. A&M's this year was Ole Miss, which we still won! LA Tech? They were ranked #23 we were #22. It was SUPPOSED to be a close game.

IMO I feel that if A&M had stayed in the Big 12 this year, it would be OU and A&M competing for the championship. I do not feel that many of the Big 12 were good this year, maybe with the exception of some explosive offenses such as Ok State, Baylor, and Tech.

A&M 2 losses were a combination of 8 points to LSU and Florida, 2 top 10 teams and 2 teams that I have no doubt in my mind that would win the Big 12. Please don't let this become an SEC being the best conference discussion again. We all have our opinions.

After all that is said, I am excited to see A&M vs OU, in fact Kingsbury leaving will give us a new challenge that we can once again get over. The past one being that A&M could not compete in the SEC.
