NCAA College Football 2013 Cotton Bowl Texas A&M vs Oklahoma

Probably one of the better looking bowl games IMO. Should be a great one to watch. What are your predictions?

I'm going with A&M 42-35. No offense to OU or anything, but A&M has seen better defenses.

In fact, I honestly don't think OU can keep up with A&M. They'll stick around for a while but A&M will get the better of them eventually. Should be a high scoring game for either team, however, I think A&M's defense deserves more credit. They aren't BAD.

Your thoughts?

It would have been an even better prospect of a game if OU was a little more interesting this year. The Belldozer was the most exciting part of this team. I couldn't tell you what OU's strenghts or weakness were this year. They just don't jump off the page or the screen. The Sooners seemed like a just better than average team much of the time. It is so rare that Niether UT or OU won the Big 12 the last 2 years.

Meanwhile Texas A&M finished off their season with a vengeance. I don't know how good the Aggies are, but they were really clicking those last few weeks. Both teams should be well prepared so I think it will be close, but Johnny Football will get it done for the win.

I agree that this will be one of the better Bowl games. Just skimming thru the games, I see a lot that I will be skipping but this isn'tone of them. I will probably take A&M but I could see it going either way

Default 1 of 2 Top Bowls...

Both offenses have proven to put up enough points to win any game... The key factor here will be who plays the best defense for 4 full quarters...

Johnny will pose some issues for the Sooner defense. We have not done well against a scrambler!... Although, we did contain the QB well against TCU...

Despite everything, this should be a very up tempo game. Of course with a month to prepare, you never know what is going to happen...

I hear of a rumor that the Sooners are planning some surprise packages...

The Sooners aren't in the dark on how to handle the Aggies!... Bob and staff are very familiar with Sumlin...

Sounds great if your a Aggie!...

I'll go with the reality of 60 minutes of ball!...

It doesn't really much matter what you and I think...

Still, this should be one of the best bowl games this season...

I think Oklahoma will have trouble slowing down the A&M offense. They never handle mobile QB's very well. Defensively, I think the two are fairly close. Sooners have given up some serious yardage (WVA), but then TAMU couldn't stop LaTech either. I think it comes down to whether or not A&M can get pressure on Jones. If so, Aggies could win by DD's. If not, OU should have a chance. I'm thinking it's either A&M by 15 or OU by 3.

You're definitely right on that one. Either team does not have the best defense, which should to a great shootout.
