Here is my ranking of the BCS champions (teams are in chronological order in the different tiers):

Elite : 01 Miami, 04 USC, 05 Texas, 08 Florida, 11 Alabama
Very Solid : 06 Florida, 07 LSU, 09 Alabama
Good but slightly flawed : 99 Florida St, 03 LSU, 10 Auburn
Marginal at best : 98 Tennessee, 00 Oklahoma, 02 Ohio State

But dont forget, these are all National Championship teams, so they were all one of the best teams in their respective seasons. I made a few slight alterations from my other post after I thought back through their two deep roster and how solid their various offensive and defensive units were.
