You never heard anything from me about Bama not being able to stop WVU. I knew WVU could of had a good offense but I was worried about not having a running game. We lose 2 starting OL and 1st string and 2nd string RBs to injury and then lose our 2 main WR for 3 games, I knew we were going to be in trouble. Add to it that for about 6 games we had 1 senior starting on a defense that featured 6 true freshman and up to 10 total freshman, I knew our season wouldn't go as I had planned.
As for the WVU bowl game, I'm not surprised at all about the outcome. You take a team that is horrible against the run to begin with and have them try to play in that weather, I still would have picked us to win, but by less than 3.
The only thing you heard from me about Bama is that I thought a team like Oregon would be able to beat them.....a team with a good, mobile QB and a fast offense. I was right seeing as to who Bama did lose to. I would have loved to watch them play Oregon
