NCAA College Football Bowl Discussion Thread
Posting this early. Sucks the only game is Navy-Army this week. I'm gonna be watching FCS instead. Montana State is choking right now as a three seed.

I'm watching the FCS as well this weekend. The first weekend in January is going to be a big football weekend for me. I am leaning towards going to the Cotton on Friday and the FCS championship in Frisco on Saturday. I am pulling for NDSU.

SMT, you did extremely well in our bowl betting last year. Just curious what your thoughts are on this year's matchups. Versus the spread, are there any games that you feel extremely confident on?

I found there to be an obvious fav on all but about 5 or 6 matchups, but I know its just not going to go the way its supposed to. I'm sticking with the better conf on most, but you also gotta think which team is glad to be there and which team isn't happy to be there. Take USC vs Georgia Tech. The Trojans are so much more talented but are they really into this game? And will they have the discipline to work on stopping the option?

I haven't looked at any of this from the spread point of view, since it appears we are picking winners. I might look at the spreads and think about that.

Wow, great ending in the first bowl game of the season. Hopefully it's a sign of some good bowl games this year.

Nothing really to talk about. CFB has the worst post season ever, these bowl games aren't even worth watching most of them, and you rarely even know that they're on
