Boise State Choach Chris Peterson too interview at Wisconsin

Quote:
Boise State is ninth in the nation in total defense and sixth in scoring defense at 15 points a game. Which is why Chris Petersen is the perfect guy to come to Madison. Somehow he is able to recruit kids to come to Boise and play on the Smurf Turf because he owns an astounding 83-8 record in his seventh season. He's got a 4-2 bowl record, which includes a 2-0 mark in BCS bowls.

This is first time the "rumors" have said Coach Pete is going for an interview if it is true I called it at the start of the season.

According to Matt Hayes (Sporting News) quote: A source close to Petersen said Wednesday night that Petersen is not interviewing with Wisconsin, despite multiple media reports in the state of Wisconsin.

Well that would be good, but I doubt with a bowl game coming up he would want it out yet.

Incorrect. Plenty of times there have been rumors of an interview with him. And you're quoting Bleacher Report...

this paragraph alone discredits the entire article.

"Petersen is the man for Madison. The last seven years he's been overlooked simply because the Broncos weren't often respected despite finishing the season ranked in the AP Top 10 four times."

Really? Petersen has been overlooked? What universe does that stooge belong to?

On a different note, the article states the whole time why Petersen would be a great get for the Badgers, but it doesnt offer 1 thing that the coach wants from the school.

Sure, they actually might get the coach, but even a broken watch is correct twice a day.

Hasn't Petersen turned down somewhat-higher profile jobs before?
...maybe the incentives weren't there.

40% chance that Barry Alvarez steps down as AD to coach the football team.

This is the time of year when Peterson's name will be linked with practically every head coach vacancy in the nation, but its all rumors. He isn't going anywhere
