Default Texas A&M OC Kliff Kingsbury leaves to be the Head Coach for Texas Tech

Lateral move or downgrade for Texas Tech?

Kingsbury IMO fell into the right place at the right time with A&M. I think all we need is Sumlin.

I don't see this working out at all. It's good and well to hire one of your own but I would never want Ricky Stanzi leading Iowa. The AD and President are so corrupt, see how they black balled Leach and the women's basketball coach. I give it two years, three at most.

TAMU is going to miss him. I wouldn't be surprised if their young Heisman winner disappoints the next couple seasons.

But as a head coach? When he has to control the whole staff, players, etc?

Don't get me wrong he's a great coordinator. Especially when you have a quarterback like Johnny.

Either way, if A&M loses to OU, I'm blaming Kingsbury.

We will see how he does at Tech, I wish him the best of luck.

I mean, your first post states that all the Aggies need is Sumlin. Then you suggest and say that should OU win, you'll blame Kingsbury! ???

He was good enough for Sumlin and aTm!...

Wow!... This is definitely a revelation to me reading these posts of yours! I pulled my post down to help again make my point with validity!

As far as Kingsbury goes on being the HC for TTU, he'll have plenty of time to get things situated with his coaches(hopefully, experienced and veterans) and the players have always been a issue all of it's own!

What I find so interesting is that he showed his craft and talent for aTm as the OC going on to get a 10-2 record. aTm beat Bama. Where is that infalible SEC attitude for your Aggies? Wasn't it all SEC Johnny Heisman? Or was it?

To even consider that OU could win, does say that you might recognize the reality of the growth of parity.

I just wonder how the loss of Kingsbury might affect the offense for the Aggies? If they are what beat Bama, you don't have to worry about anything! However, to blame Kingsbury if they do lose to OU, might reveal a much greater appreciation for very good coaching!...

That was all I was referencing in a plausible way!...

Boomer Sooner!...

First post, you say all we need is Sumlin. Then you say that if your Aggies lose, you'll blame Kingsbury...

Ahhhh, the Glory or Agony that can develop in 60 minutes of ball!...

Point validated. Me potentially blaming Kingsbury was a joke of course...
Like I said before I wish him the best of luck at Tech, I really do, he has the potential to become a great coach.

In reference to the first post of suggesting that Kingsbury going to TTU was a lateral move or downgrade legitimate? Or was it a dry joke as well?

I mean, 10-2 for the former aTm OC in the SECW wasn't no bowl of Lucky Charms!... Hmmm?

Surely Tuberville leaving was possibly a blessing in disguise, right? Was his TT Raiders in the upper tier of the Big XII this season?... Was the Tech offense and season record a result of being 10-2?...

I acknowledge that you appear to be genuine and considerate, it is just those kind of statements threw me. Hope you understand my inquiery!...
