I never said more of a right. The point is that since A&M played in the SEC they had no shot at a four team playoff spot b/c two other conference members in front of them had better records.

Also even with an eight team playoffs A&M would have had a hard time getting in looking back at the end of the regular season. 3 SEC teams finished at 10-2, 1 at 11-1, 1 at 11-2, and other at 12-1 after SEC Title game.
