There goes Oregon being a power program for at least a while.

Looks like Stanford should have a nice run of conference titles for a couple of years. Kelly will be back in college in 3-4 years.

When he fails in the NFL, maybe he can take over an SEC team and finally win a NC. So who will be looking for a coach in a few years?

What makes you guys so sure that he'll fail in the NFL? PAC 12 has produced two good coaches as of late (Pete Carroll & Jim Harbaugh). I think Kelly will do pretty good with Philly

Depending on how much power he has over personnel (coaches, players, draft choices, etc), I suspect he'll do well.

He has a chance, but he has to move on from college. At Oregon his teams usually had talent that outmatched most others. He won't have that in Philadelphia, everyone is on a somewhat level playing field. Nick Saban is possibly going to go down as the greatest college coach ever, and he was a complete failure in there NFL. Carroll and Harbaugh also both ran more of a pro style team. Kelly, not so much.

Not really...he landed a few great recruits that fit his system, but Oregon was never talent rich like suc.

Oregon had depth for days. One guy goes down, and the next could step right in. At USC, one guy goes down, and so does the season.
