My thoughts:
So basically Manti Te’o is gay.

He tried to get a secret relationship going and used the death of his grandma as a way to act out a genuine grieving period.

Why...? If anyone ever asks why he isnt with a girl in the future, its because he isnt over his dead girlfriend.

But the relationship he had online is real. Even if its directed to a girl, it was meant for Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.

I wondered why people here were so quiet on this weird and crazy story. Its hard to believe that Te'o is completely innocent, because he kept giving interviews about his girlfriend passing away even after he learned that she was still alive on Dec. 6th, according to media reports. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ied-of-cancer/

They deserved it in this system, but I don't think many really thought they were one of the best two in the country. I'd say his "girlfriend" easily.

He had to have known, and if it comes out that he did, I hope his career is over. Although, if Ray Lewis is allowed to have a career, why not anyone.

I have a feeling that Te'o was just incredibly naive...and he probably realized that he was a moron after the media went crazy with stories during the season, so he tried to hide the shame of his stupidity.

...all in all, I don't really care. It's a good reminder to not completely trust what TV/news/the internet tells you.

ya, he had to have known because
1. his friend is the one that made up the account
2. what type of idiot says "it was nice meeting you", and a school article saying "Their stares got pleasantly tangled, then Manti Te'o extended his hand to the stranger with a warm smile and soulful eyes. Kekua, a Stanford student, swaps phone numbers with Te'o." to a fake person that they never met.
3. what high profile person is in a relationship for over half a year without seeing her and is perfectly fine with it?
4. why cant manti correct his father when he said "Every once in a while, she would travel to Hawaii, and that happened to be the time Manti was home, so he would meet with her there." There was no meeting, she is fake.
5. "i miss you"... you cant miss someone you never met.
