He just broke Peyton Mannings record for most wins by a QB in NCAA history with his 40th win this weekend beating Kentucky 62-17. He also broke the SEC record for passes without an INT (206 and counting) and broke the UGA record for career TD passes with 68 passing Eric Zeier.

This guy doesn't get that much national props since UGA doesn't throw that much especially compared to the pac 10 schools but he's a damn good QB.

He should be performing better with the depth at skill positions he has.

I'm happy for Greene but the second half collapse against Florida and the UT game were inexcuseable.

I guess I'm thankful you aren't Mark Richt.

If not for Greene, UGA wouldn't have beaten UF at all. He has had one really bad game all season, and still had a shot to take out the Vols on the final drive. Shockley is a great dual threat, but he hasn't consistenly shown accuracy. Greene can drop a ball on a dime....

...but that said, this team hasn't been able to throw the ball unless the running game is established.

DHNF, after seeing greene 6 times this season and once in person (and you know when that was, ) i would have to agree that he deserves more props. He is a solid QB, but....he almost cost UGA the game against USC and it was yall's defense that got you out of the jam. he DID finally beat UF but then he goes out and has a horrible game against a team you guys have dominated recently in UT. I dont know, he seems to always come up short when you need him most, references, LSU twice last season, UT this season and almost USC too, UF the last three seasons. a UF win in 2002 and you guys are the National Champs, or at least you play for it. He is good, but he aint great. not yet at least.

We haven't really dominated UT recently. True we haven't lost to them in something like 3 or four years but 2 of those losses were last second come from behind victories. the one in Neyland staium 2 or three years ago (I forget) was one of the most exciting UGA games of all time. I had almost ceded victory to the vols when we mounted like a 14 point comeback in the waning minutes of the game....AWESOME!!!

Greene's had his moments, but he isn't a gamebreaker in the sense that he cannot consistently control a game. In 2001, he had Verron Haynes take the heat off of him. In 2002, it was Musa Smith and the D. In 2003, it was the D for the most part, but occasionally Michael Cooper or Kregg Lumpkin helped him out. This season it's been Danny Ware or Tommy Brown. If the run is established, Greene plays phenomenal. The problem is that Mark Richt often falls in love with tossing the ball around and it puts the O in rough situations.
