BSU, other than a few exciting runs in the last half of the game, had more rushing yardage sideways than they did down the field. I think they forgot that the field runs the other way, and instead made several dozen dashes for the side of the field when they had a lane right up the middle. The field is long and narrow, boys, NOT short and wide.
Referees, especially line judges, are completely and utterly blind. I think they have Braille whistles, even.
Boston College's cheerleaders blow away BSU's cheerleaders. Boston College has actual women instead of stick thin girls who look 12 and look like they should be cheering for the Jr. High team. It was refreshing to see actual women with actual figures instead of a bunch of pieces of waif thin orange and blue construction paper. I thought our cheerleaders were going to blow away like paper dolls when a gust of wind came up. Boston College has MAD SEXY cheerleaders who actual have butts, and they have legs bigger around than my wrist. It was very refreshing.
Jared Zabranski was consistantly inconsistant as usual. Oh, and by the way, that was NOT an interception that he threw to end the game. That was a beautiful pass directly to a member of the opposite team. It was the best pass he threw the entire game and not a Bronco in sight. It was worthy of the highlight clip had it only been thrown to a Bronco. I seriously wonder if he was paid to throw the game. Seriously. If you were there you know what I am talking about. It was clearly a clean, direct pass to a Boston College player and nothing more.
And finally, college bowl games are exciting, especially when you get wind blown, hailed on, rained on and freezing cold. This is the stuff bowl games are made of, and I was happy to witness a respectable loss by BSU in spite of everything I have just said.
