PSU football and JOE PA
Hi all, I live in Massachusetts and have been to see all the major league teams from this area play. There is nothing like seeing the Sox play at Fenway Park! I have also gone to a few BC Eagle football games but Penn State has been my favorite college team for over twenty years. I always argue with friends that college football is better to watch than the pros. The argument always goes around and around hahah. I was lucky enough to make my first trip to State College, Pa this month. What an experience!!! It was awful to see the Nittany Lions lose to Michigan, but the Wolverines are clearly a better team this year. The special part about this game was the excitement in the crowd that only college ball seems to have and also watching a game with 110,000 other people only adds to this excitement. However the greatest part of the game was watching a living legend coach. Joe Paterno is the last of a certain breed and when he goes it will be a sad day. Coaches like him are what make college football better than pros. Of course they still want to win but turning out good citizens is just as important to Joe Pa as winning the game. There is still some purity in the game at this level. I’m sure watching a game at ND or Alabama, the list could go on forever would be great. However one thing would be missing and that’s Coach Paterno
