If it works out like that, I definately think all of the first teams listed would win those games. And no offense to Rutgers, but they better hope they don't have to play Arkansas. Rutgers does not have the defense to contain the Razorback run-game, by ANY stretch of the imagination. Not to take anything away from Ray Rice, who has carried that team. I'll give em that. And as for the other games, I hope there aren't any rematches. It's always better to see teams matched up that wouldn't normally play each other. But it'll be interesting to see how it works out.
I disagree with that, they shut down a great offense in Louisville and Pitt, and have not really had a bad defensive game yet, I want to see how they play against the best rushing attack in the country at WVU, but that defense is very solid.

i was just about to say that i think the combo of White and Slaton is more dangerous than that of McFadden and Jones. Rutgers might just sneak into the championship game with some help but i dont see that happening.
Yes... Nobody has a rushing attack that even compares to West Virginia... It is the best right now and will be like that for years to come... Especially considiring that Pat White and Steve Slaton are both only sophmore...
And with the success they are having they will be able to get better and better athletes to go along with those guys and when they get a top tier O-line with the skill guys they have, look out.
National Championship: Ohio State vs Michigan
Rose Bowl: USC vs Notre Dame
Fiesta Bowl: Texas vs Arkansas
Orange Bowl: Georgia Tech vs West Virginia
Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Boise State
What do you think? I think USC will lose to Notre Dame...which will not only set up an OSU/Michigan rematch, but (ironically enough) a USC/Notre Dame rematch for the Rose Bowl as well. But who knows. Gonna be an exciting final two weeks!

My bad...originally I had Arkansas and Boise State and West Virginia switched around...that detail seemed to slip my mind. Damn this makes things more complicated now.

Well, I see where you're coming from. But West Virginia's rushing attack ranks 3rd in the NCAA. Arkansas is only one behind at #4. However, West Virginia does not play in the SEC. And also, that Arkansas defense is better than any of the teams that Rutgers has played. Given, Rutgers might be able to slow down D-Mac and Felix Jones for a few plays... but definately not for any stretch of time. Arkansas' special teams is such that it could come to to field position if these teams were to play. But I think there is no way that Rutgers could stop the best RB tandem in Division I football. Arkansas is the only team in a TOUGH conference that has put up those kind of rushing numbers. They are still undefeated in conference play, which is a testament to both offense and defense playing very well. Arkansas' O-line is one of the best, if not the best, in the country. And that's not just in run-blocking. I think they lead the NCAA in least sacks given up, as well. D-Mac had 212 yards rushing w/ 2 TD's against South Carolina AT South Carolina. D-Mac had like 130+ yards against Auburn AT Auburn. D-Mac had nearly 160 yards against Tenn. at Fayteville. Arkansas' RB-tandem IS the best the country. They have the SEC's leading rusher in Darren McFadden as well as Felix Jones, who now holds the 3 spot in conference. The fact that the Razorbacks have been able to put up those kinds of numbers against SEC opponents, while remaining undefeated so far in conference play, shows that they are probably the most dominant run team in Division I football. Rutgers hasn't played anyone of their calibur. However, I mean no disrespect to Rutgers. They've had a HELL of a season and Ray Rice is a walking high-light real. I didn't mean to down play their defense, because that's also a reason why they've gone undefeated. But the difference that exists is that Arkansas plays in the toughest Division I conference. But anything can happen in football game. Arkansas plays LSU at War Memorial stadium in Little Rock (where I live) this next Friday. So we'll find out how dominant the Arkansas' run game can be facing one of the best defensive units in the country. And then they gotta face the Florida Gators. Tough games ahead before the bowls start. LSU and Florida seem to be a little bit more of a threat to Arkansas' RBs than Rutgers, despite the not-so-stellar 28 - 14 win against Miss. State in Starksville. But that clinched the SEC West title, regardless of what happens with the LSU game.

Yeah. Razorbacks and Gators play for the SEC title. The winner of that game should most likely end up in the Sugar Bowl. But I'm pulling for Arkansas to win the SEC.
