NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Eight head coaches from Conference USA football teams visited New Orleans this week to tour areas affected by Hurricane Katrina last August, a news release from the conference office said Thursday.

Making the two-day trip, were: Phil Bennett (Southern Methodist), Art Briles (Houston), Jeff Bower (Southern Miss), Todd Graham (Rice), George O'Leary (Central Florida), Mike Price (Texas-El Paso, Chris Scelfo (Tulane) and Tommy West (Memphis), according to the news release from the conference's Irving, Texas, office.
