Default should cowboys trade out of the first round

I would like to see Dallas trade out of the first round, unless someone slips ridiculously far. Id like to see them try to add a #1 next year so they could trade up. The reason being at that time they will be looking for a top young reciever or QB, and next years draft will have Jarret, and Ginn (probobly), Quinn, Troy Smith, and Stanton. Other than saftey they dont really have a first round need, and they could find a top saftey in the 2nd. All there other needs are depth, and those can be addressed in the later rds

I think the best thing for Dallas is to stay put and draft the best OLB or CB/FS that falls to them, that defense has several holes and with a key pick in those positions they could really be a threat for the SB.

Maybe a guy like Allen who can cover to compliment a guy like roy williams, but they just got ware last year and need o line help, I think they lost like 3 guys this offseason including Larry Allen and no way fabiaini is the answer, that oline is in need of some help and eric winston or mcneill would be a better choice IMO

I say we trade back with either the Cheifs, Jags or the Buccs. More likely we will go OLB unless someone falls. We lost two o-lineman Allen and Tucker we added more but I look for us to take a OT in the second round and hav him play OG the first season.

I would actually agree with you Manster if any of those teams were willing to trade up it wouldn't be a terrible idea, but I don't see any of those teams having a need to move up.

There always seems to be a team that is willing to mortgage their future to trade up for an overvalued player. Although I dont see a Qb that could make a jump to were the Cowboys are, and i dont think Cutler will slip that far
