One thing I noticed about Romo is when the Cowboys control the ball, he succeeds. The two games he struggled in the NO game and the Philly game, Dallas got dominated in T.O.P. and Romo was making mistakes. I think alot of his success has to do with what he has around him, and not only the "skill" players or the line but the defence two. Dallas is a ball control team, and thats when Romo succeded. Up until the NO game Dallas had one of the top D's in the league (ranked 4th going into that game)Then NO had a way to exploit our D that was missing Ellis, and doesnt rush ILBs or DL (god I hope that changes). After that game we couldnt get teams off the field. NO had the ball 22 minutes in the first half, and I think Philly was about the same as well. Romo is not a Peyton Manning were he can can score 21 points in a half when only having the ball 8 minutes. In those games it looked like he was pressing alot more.
Im not trying to put any of Romo's blame on others per-say. Im saying that he isnt good enough YET to be able to carry a team. IMO if we make the right hire at DC our D could be scary. And then I think you will see more of the Romo you saw in the Colts game, and less of the Romo from the Sheagles game

grunt, i understand what you are saying and i feel the same way you do...
i give your opinions respect but for some reason i don't get the same...
I can understand why i am looked at as a homer here but at the same time i feel as though my opinions are more inteligent than the average poster at this site....I had very high hopes for Romo after he beat Indy, maybe too high....but at the same time i think you and others are scared to give me respect because of my past posts on that....
I WANT RESPECT DAMN IT.....NOW GIVE IT...

I was posting in responce to edreeds post, and really wasnt an argument against anyone, just my take on Romo as of right now. And your right, you are more intellegent than many posters here, and you make alot of great points, even tho I may not agree on them at times, they are still good points. So if you feel that I am showing you disrespect for argueing some points, then Im sorry, no disrespect was inteneded. But at the same time you have caused problems for some posters, baited and hijacked threads, and wheather or not you show intellenents or not, people are going to lose respect. Its happened here before with other posters, and they have bounced back, their is no reason to think you cant.

Ive learned in the almost 26 years I have been alive, from athletics, to Falluja, and everything in between, is that you cannot ask for repect. Respect is gained thru actions, thru reactions, and to me, thru truth. I cant tell you the awnsers, and I dont want a list, but you have to ask yourself, "What have I done to gain respect" and "What have I done to lose respect"
