I can't think of any but I'll do some research. Carpenter fits real well into the 3-4 system and should be a playmaker.

They still could have waited to grab him or traded back IMO...he is good and has the intangibles to fit into their system I just think they grabbed him too early, but with the way the draft was going yo0u never know.

they Probobly didnt trade down for the same reason the Bills took whitner, they may have lost him If they traded down

I think that they targeted carpenter the whole time, and felt that if they did trade back, they might be screwed out of getting him. I think it was a nice move by the cowboys.
