If BP didnt want him back, TO would have been gone. Contractually its too easy to get rid of him.

There is going to be a lot of names thrown around. Cowher, Wade, Lovie, Fisher and other. I do not think that he will go the route of a college guy so Stoops and Houston Nutt are out. He might go for one if he had NFL coaching experience so Pete Carrole and Charlie Wies names will also be thrown about, I do not think that either of them want to leave the schools they are at but 5 mill a year can change minds. Both Fisher and Cowher are under contract so Dallas would have to give up something to get either one of them and Jones had said bdfore he would not trade for a coach. Besides, Bud Adams would not let Fisher go to Dallas he hates both the teams from Texas. Lovie Smith name keeps coming up along with Rivera, I do not think either one of them is all that likely right now Dallashas a 3-4 and have spent the past 2-3 drafts building into on of them and neither coach is a 3-4 guy and Jerry has alreasdy had to watch Zimmerman go though that. Norvr Turner is someone alot of people will say because of what Aikman has said and I feel that he would be a good for Romo but I have heard even before that he does not want to have to move his son who is in school and doing well as a QB himself. Wade seems like the guy if he wants a defense guy that has been an NFL HC while Rex Ryan would be the chose if experience is not that high on the list. I get the feeling though that he wants an offensive minded coach. That does not mean that Wade or Ryan could not get the job but they would have to have a good OC lined up to come in. One name just to throw out there is Dennsi Green JJ said that if BP had turned him down that he was the next man on the list.

With Petrino getting 4.5 million a year Weis and Carroll would command a lot more than 5 million a year.

Plus IDK the exact stipulation or amount, but if you want Weis, you have to pat ND a ****LOAD of money. I want to say in to 40 Mil range, but Im not sure. At thats just to the school, then you have to pay Weis. If he coached any other college team then my favorite, I would say he is worth ever penny, but hell, it aint my money he's spending

I can't believe he retired! He chose a horrible time to do it. I mean, ya got the Senior game comin up plus ya leave the team in the midst of everything frantically looking for a coach. Horrible timing.

I belive the dallas cowboys next coach should be juan rivera
it would only make sense as the state of texas has a lot of mexicans it's practically mexico although i doubt T.O would go for it. just a observation
