Rivera Would Like to Play Again

Despite the recent offensive-line signings by the Cowboys, Rivera wants to play next season and is going through rehabilitation.
Rivera, 34, had his second back surgery in two years after the season-ending playoff loss to Seattle. The Cowboys signed free agent Leonard Davis, who had been with Arizona, and re-signed right tackle Marc Colombo.
“I’ve been in the game too long to even worry about those things,” Rivera said. “The best five guys are going to play. If I am one of those guys, then I’ll play. If I’m not, then I’m not.”
Rivera appears to be out of a starting job and could consider retirement or he might be released. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he will leave the decision up to Rivera.
“It’s going to take time,” Rivera said. “My goal is to be there for the first game of the season.”

Nice to see hes trying but i think he just wants the check. I dont see him being here after the June cuts.
