The Browns 07 Watch
Here's the Browns schedule:
Sep 9 Pittsburgh 1:00pm
Sep 16 Cincinnati 1:00pm
Sep 23 @Oakland 4:05pm
Sep 30 Baltimore 1:00pm
Oct 7 @New England 1:00pm
Oct 14 Miami 1:00pm
Week 7 BYE
Oct 28 @St. Louis 1:00pm
Nov 4 Seattle 4:05pm
Nov 11 @Pittsburgh 1:00pm
Nov 18 @Baltimore 1:00pm
Nov 25 Houston 1:00pm
Dec 2 @Arizona 4:05pm
Dec 9 @N.Y. Jets 4:15pm
Dec 16 Buffalo 1:00pm
Dec 23 @Cincinnati 1:00pm
Dec 30 San Francisco 1:00pm
How many games can we count on them losing? IMO they aren't a lock to win any of these games except Houston and Oakland maybe. On the other end of the spectrum, they should have a decent chance to beat the Cards, 49ers, Miami, and Buffalo. If the rest of the teams in the division hold up, the Steelers and Bengals should kill the Browns with their offenses, while the Ravens give the Browns offense Hell for two games.
I see the Browns winning at MOST 7 games, and this is if Quinn or Frye do a good job and Jamal Lewis' wheels stay on. That'd give us at minimum at top 12 pick. What do you guys feel about the Browns this year and how it pans out for us Cowboys?

Its impossible to predict how teams will do next year. The Raider could win 10 games next year. Sounds ridiculous, but it happens.
The positive on the browns is they could actually have a very strong 0-Line depending on how Thomas pans out. he is an elite prospect, but so was Gallery. So we will have to see how he works out. They have little behind J-Lew, so thats not looking to promising for them. Braylon Edwards could be this years Roy Williams, but after Jurovuios it gets thin.
What is going to kill that team tho, and really limit any progress they make as far as W's and L's, is their front 3. Its old and not good. Ted Williams was a great player, but he is 39, and they have little behind him. And Orpheus Roye and Robiare Smith are really just spare part players that are starting. Wimbley is a great player, and their LB's are a decent group, but in the 3-4 without a good front 3, your LB's are gonna get pounded.

Oh of course, by no means do i mean to say this is what will happen. I'm not one to be a good predictor of anything(refer to my mock draft)...for the time being i'm just going off of what we know right now. their WR core is kinda weak, Vicious isn't going to have much impact anymore imo, but Winslow's coming up. I agree with you that the Browns defense will hurt them badly, i see them having a bad run defense(get out! no really).
All i know is this though, i never thought i'd see the day when i'd wish for the Cleveland Browns to lose more than the Eagles.

Winslow may be shakey this year, Ive heard he is having some problems with an injury. Supposedly he should be good for the season, but it is something to watch

Oh no way, that'd be horrible for Cleveland. After all the crap he went through just be healthy? Yikes, given that and the attitude problem, doesn't seem even close to worth the pick the Browns spent on him.

He reminds of Shockey so much its scary. Talented, performs at a high level, emotional leader that gets his team up. But the health concerns and attitude hurts him and his team.
