I've neglected this a bit recently, I'm gonna try to get back on the ball here.

Some of my points of interest.
Quote:
Ben Farmer, San Antonio, Texas: I am having difficulty finding the wisdom in cutting Aaron Glenn. I know he was getting old, but I haven't seen anything from Jacques Reeves to make me think that this was a good idea. Could you enlighten me as to what I'm not seeing?
Mickey: The Cowboys coaching staff and personnel department just didn't think Glenn had a good training camp or preseason. Now he did struggle some in the third game, but seemed to redeem himself in the final outing against Minnesota. My guess is, they know more than we do about Terence Newman's condition, and must feel he has a good chance to play Sunday or by the following game. Now come on, Reeves played well against the Vikings and did have his moments last year. I think it came down to no one thought Glenn could handle the total duties of a third corner, meaning play 60 plays a game if one of the starters went down.

I've thought this since the cut. Even if Glenn had lost 10 steps, if we seriously thought we would be without Newman for an extended period of time, we dont make that cut.
