With Jones, I think this is the time of year people dig for a story. Right now Im not putting to much into him missing the teams workout.

Mickey: Not if it takes a first-round pick to get this guy. A whole lot of you have been asking about him. I'm not sure what it will take to bag him, but me, if I've got two first-round picks, and one of them might be pretty high if Cleveland struggles, as many are suggesting, I am doing nothing to ruin my leverage in the draft. Two first-round picks are huge, especially if you only need one thing. You have the firepower to get the best, be it a running back or maybe even a quarterback, if need be. Not sure I'd use more than a third on the guy. I think it would have to be a quarterback before I'd use a first in the supplemental draft.

I agree with Spags here, in fact, I would go lower after Oliver was ti8med. I wouldnt give up a day 1 pick for him right now, but he would be a steal for a 4th. Now Jared Gaither on the other hand, I would give up a #1

Mickey: Boy, you guys don't forget a thing. Yes, Sparano still is with the Cowboys. He officially is the assistant head coach and also the offensive line coach. Unofficially, he has combined with Garrett to help draw up this team's offense. Garrett readily will tell you how they are incorporating into this offense a lot of the plays and concepts Sparano used quite successfully last year and how much he relies on Sparano for advice. It's a great comfort for Garrett to have the experience of a Sparano around, not to mention that of quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson, who played this game for 19 years in the NFL, and receivers coach Ray Sherman, who has been an NFL offensive coordinator for three teams during his coaching career.

Sparano presence puts me at ease with Garretts inexpirience. Garrett is in a great situation for his first OC gig because of the coaches around him. Sparano was a instrumental part of the offence last year. Sherman is one of the better WR coaches in the league, and we have some young guys with great measurables like Stanback and Austin, they both just need proper coaching
