Default New look D-Line

BP has gone a long way to make this a good 3-4 defense line. They have a lot of young players that are going to get better but right now they only have Ellis and Ferguson as the only vets that look like they will make the team. I think that either Spears or Canty, I lean towards Canty, will become one of the best 3-4 DE's in the NFL.

Of the expected starters on the three-man front, two are entering their second season in the NFL, while only nose tackle Jason Ferguson, a free agent signee a year ago, has much experience. Ferguson is entering his 10th NFL campaign.

I think down the line Stanley will be a steal, he may not be a Lett level talent, but I think he will be a solid NT who may eventually make Fergeson expendable

He hits me as a younger bigger Ferguson. I think in 2 years he will be the starting NG.

I think that if the front 7 developes into a dominant unit down the road, the Canty/ Stanley picks are gonna be the reason. I honestly think Stanley could be starting by 07, depending on how many snaps he gets behind Fergeson this year, and what he does with them

I could see that happening with Pepper Johnson being the back up in a Glover type of mold. Not as big but has the quickness that can cause problems in his own way.
