The only thing I can think of is Dallas is not happy either with Adams health or the progress of either Petite or Fabine. This is the second unretired OT Dallas has looked at, Adam Meadows who signed with Denver was the other.

I think this was more the Cowboys triyong to unearth more options on th Oline, for depth purposes, I did seem like BP put too much stock in the workout.

But one thing I really liked:
"The Cowboys have also been impressed with seventh-round pick Pat McQuistan, who actually worked with the first-team offense Saturday in place of Adams and has been working with the second team. "

He may not be as good as his twin but he may devlope into a solid starter down the line ( as a 7th round pick)

One thing that worried me:
"But Fabini has been less than impressive, and was working with the third team on Monday."
I didnt expect the world of Fabini, but I am a little skeptical of going into the season with Pettite again.

wow, to me this is grasping at straws. I know that BP is worried about the line with his comments about if the line doesn't do its job they just won't win.

They decided not to sign him. I read somewhere he is working out for the Redskins now.
