Thank's gruntbygod good read.

I know what Ware is capable of,with another off-season of hitting the weight room and learning and adding new move's in his pass-rushing technique's he will give offensive lineman a hard way to go this season.

Player who has been the most impressive early in camp and preseason is Chris Canty. He has been a beast at the line of scrimmage taking on guard's and tackle's and sliding off to wrap up running back's. He will live up to expectation's and carry his progression and aggression right into the season and there is no doubt i.m.o he was a steal in last year's draft.

Surprise's? So far i.m.o me it's been Romo ,Watkin's , Hurd ,Ratliff and second year Jamaica Rector.

I know it's too early too to go crazy over Romo's first full preseason game...but i liked his quick release of the ball...his movement in the pocket to elude potential sack's... no interception's..his ability to make quick check down read's.Not bad for a preseason game. His real test will be in the future when he eventually get's a shot in a regular season game that count's, when opposing defense's show him exotic look's and his ability to recognize all the look's that defense's disguise will be a learning curve that he will only master with playing time as the starter and not the back up.

Watkin's could be steal and a gem of a pick up,he will most likely start out in our nickel defense and give Keith Davis a run at the starting free-safety job eventually i hope...his speed and 6' 5" frame are ideal for the position. He will also be a difference maker on special team's as a flanker on run down coverage..the guy has a long stride and cover's ground in a hurry.

Hurd is a big tall athletic receiver who i think will make the team and show's good promise..need's to work on and tweak his hand technique and bring his hand's in tighter as the ball arrive's,nothing that coaching and repetition can't cure i.m.o.

Rector has been hauling in ball's left and right on a consistent basis and remind's Parcell's of former Redskin's receiver Gary Clark... i'll take that with a grain of salt for now but not a bad receiver to be compared to, Clark was a pretty d**n good receiver..would be nice to see him make the roster and turn out to be a play maker as a wideout in the future.

Ratliff at the defensive left end position has made a lot of noise and is giving the offensive line line fit's as he filled in for the ailing Spear's and is challenging for starting left end job..even if Spear's regain's and earn's back his starting end position the Cowboy's will have a nice replacement in a rotation on the defensive line..Spear's absence has given Ratliff extra valuable rep's and he has made the most of it.
