Parcells,Belichick.........
Quote:
By JAIME ARON, AP Sports Writer
IRVING, Texas - Two longtime football coaches were talking this summer about the way things used to be, back when they worked together and really pushed their players.
They lamented how much more coddling is done these days, especially in training camp. So they decided to do something about it. One said he was going back to the old way; the other said he'd do the same.
That might not seem like a remarkable tale, except that the conversation was between Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick.

BB is a better coach, Bill P has never won a superbowl without BB, but BB has certainly won them without Parcells

Wasn't Parcells the Giants HC when they won the Superbowl in '87?

But Belichick was his coordinater, thats what he means, although that statement was ridiculous, Belichick hasnt won one without weis, thats the same situation, does that make weis a better coach. Parcells is a good coach, and did alot for BBs career, besides BB wasnt any good when he was in cleveland so what does that mean, hes nothing without brady? NO, you cant compare things like that.

That just about says it all right there. BB was only able to win after Tom fell in his lap. BP won with the Giants took the Pats to the SB got the Jets to the AFC championship game and he got people talking SB about the Cowboys this year. Think about this he got to the playoffs with Carter and Hambrick.

BP has never one a SB without BB, simple yeah, BB has not won without wiess as a head coach, but he did win it when he was a coordinator and also, how many trophies does wiess have as a HC, once he does then you can compare to BB. BP wishes he had BB right now.

So you are saying that BB has to have either BP or Weiss to be able to win. So sorry Weiss has not done anything in his one year as HC at ND I guess he is over rated and did not help the Pats win at all.(10)
That should help clear that up.

Nope, as a first year head coach at ND, Weis has nothing, except one of the best teams in college football. What exactly did BB have his first year coaching....ummmm? how bout an awful record.
