Lorenzen a Contender for Eli's backup job (Newsday)

Since Rob Johnson hasnt done dick since he got here, and Tim Hasselbeck hasn't really looked like a good backup since he got here although I used to like him when he was with Washington; I think the logical choice for #2 this year is the Pillsbury Throwboy, aka the Hefty lefty, aka J-Load, aka Jared Lorenzen

Indeed he did. Of course, every QB who played for Kentucky from 1995 through 2004 pretty much shredded IU, from Billy Jack Haskins to Couch to Lorenzen.
