Name some players who can no longer walk becuse of an injury they got when they were 32 years old.

It wouldn't be too hard to find cases like that if you know where to look. Look at the retirees and the case they're trying to make with the NFL players union right now. Watch some inductees limp or use canes/walkers when they get inducted to the Hall. There is no need to argue this point. It happens, and it's not because of any one injury. The daily beating takes its toll.

No matter the weight of the player, running back is the most physically punishing position in football. Nobody takes more of an all-around beating than those guys.

Lineman have the most physically punishing position, then next is probably the RB's.

I won't argue with you on that, you could probably make a case either way. Linemen don't get hit by safeties and linebackers running full speed like running backs do though.
