More former Jets coming to Dallas?
It looks like Bill Parcells and crew are looking at bringing some former NY Jets players over to the Cowboys. He has already brought some over, and now the NY Jets have let some more good players slip away (as of last Tuesday).More former Jets coming to Dallas? Here is a list of former NY Jets players that are now playing in Dallas: Keyshawn Johnson, Richie Anderson, Vinny Testaverde, Dedric Ward, Jason Ferguson, Aaron Glenn, Ryan Young, Terry Glenn, Drew Bledsoe, and Chad Eaton. That is a rather impressive list of players.
And, here are the names of a few NY Jets players that will likely be playing in Dallas: LB Ty Law, OT Jason Fabini, fullback Jerald Sowell, quarterback Jay Fiedler, linebacker Barry Gardner, defensive tackle Lance Legree, and wide receiver Harry Williams Jr. Again, these are all good players -- especially Ty Law and Jay Fiedler. Dallas still needs a good young QB.
IMO, this is very much like when the Vikings made that really bad trade deal with Dallas for Herschel Walker way back in 1989 that resulted in the Cowboys developing a three-time Super Bowl championship team from what were thought to be less worthy players at that time of that deal. Jimmy Johnson also reunited himself with players that he knew well -- much the way that Parcells is currently doing in Dallas.
I have high hopes for what these player aquisitions will mean for the Cowboys future Super Bowl aspirations...

I do know that with their FB and OT situation you could really see Sowell and Fabini there.
As far as a good young QB...Feidler is neither

Being a guy who just generally hates Dallas, I hope you're right too. I would be more than a little angry if they were the first team with six rings.

It is not certain yet where Ty Law will end up, but you better believe that Law and Parcells are talking about a reunion. A chance to work with Parcells again may be too good to pass up -- even if he takes a pay cut. The chance for a SB title is hard to pass up. And, as some mentioned, six SB titles sounds good. Or, better yet, imagine another run of two or three SBs... The Dallas Cowboys would become the Yankees of the NFL so to speak.

Just the thought of him in Dallas bothers me, even though I don't see it as a possibility at this point for them to get Law. He has rings and IMO is just getting $$ at this point.

Maybe so, but he won't play for a team that has no chance. The Jets were supposed to be good, which is why he went there. Now he'll end up back in NE if they want him or possibly Dallas.
