It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Well since the World of NFL Players, Commentator & Fans seem to all be jumping on the Pat's Perfect Season Bandwagon, I thought I'd project a tad bit and say after the beating my Boyz put on GB, it could be entirely possible to see Dallas slipping in the final stages of the Playoffs.
Oh dare we think of a SB appearance? All I can say is, thank God I'm not a Sports Gambler, although I did win $50 on the DC/GB Game by which $25 of it game from the DC/NY game that my friend asked if he could roll double or nothing, because if I were, I'd have lost my house by now had someone bet at this stage of the Season, the only loss DC would have had is to the lossless Pats.
I'm not sure I can pin their success on any one player. I love TR but I really can't credit him for carrying the team to one victory after another and TO (talented as he may be) sure isn't going to get the nod. Wade possibly, nah, not even close. Offensive Line and/or Defensive Line? Well those guys aren't getting the Fanfare some of the others enjoy and I know they sure ain't getting to paychecks some of the others enjoy but anybody with eye can see those two groups are the clue that's keeping it all together for Dallas.
So are we gonna see Dallas & New England in the Super Bowl? Well there's still a lot of football left and the playoffs is a tricky Beast for sure. I mean people are saying the Pats will go unbeaten and I'm saying if they lose at all this Season, it will most likely be in the playoffs because they don't them Wildcard Teams for nothing. Crazy stuff happens in the playoffs which is why we're always glued to the Sets during this time.
What was the last Wildcard Team to Win the Super Bowl? Come on you know this but better yet;
Which of these Teams do not belong on this list?
Wild Card Super Bowl Winners
New England Pats -
Pitts Steelers -
KC Chiefs -
Oakland Raiders -
Denver Broncos -
Cleveland Browns -
LA Raiders -
Washington Redskins -
So my point is, I can't in all good consciousness proclaim a most certain Dallas Cowboy appearance in this Seasons' Super Bowl.

I don't see how a team led by a 3x Super Bowl winning QB and Head coach is a band-wagon.

if people who weren't fans all of a sudden become fans of a team just because they are winning makes them bandwagon fans. Remember how many people were niner fans in the late eighties and nineties, massive bandwagon.

IMO the bandwago team this season is the Packers. Never seen so many GB jerseys in D.C. before.

there is always a new bandwagon team each year, but the Pats are the bandwagon team of recent history

in all honesty though, i have seen virtually no Patriot fans or jerseys for months now. If there's a bandwagon they must be hiding in person because everyone despises them..lol.

What I mean by Bandwagon is only in reference of people thinking the Pats will repeat the 72' Dolphins feat. Nothing more .. I do not mean people are all of a sudden becoming Fans of the Pats.
Sorry if you all misinterpreted my statement.
The one interesting thing I've noticed is the Pats are certainly one of the luckiest Teams this Season. I can say from my observation that three games should have ended with a Pats loss only to be foiled by unnecessary errors in the final moments of the game.
The Colts had them all but wrapped up so much so that I went away from the Set and did some stuff around the house thinking I'd come back later to listen to Peyton & Company talking about how they executed their plays to victory.
The Eagles (of all Teams - sorry BB) was just about to be Crowned when the curtain came crashing down in the final seconds of the game.
And then the Ravens .. what happened there? All they had to do is run out the Clock and they would have had it. But from what I witnessed, the Pats didn't win this game, the Ravens lost it.
Right now, had there not been totally unnecessary errors & game effecting penalties, the Pats should be 9-3 by all accounts. And I'd have to say if they continue to play as they have been, I'm not so certain they will make it to the Super Bowl. Simply because they walked away with a win isn't indicative of them being the best Team in the League. I know, it's hard to argue against it with a 12-0 record but actually as pointed out, there have been many of their games where they squeaked through in the end, not necessarily dominating the other Team.
Even the game against my Boyz, we had our chances all the way until the 4th Qtr. when we self-destructed.
Everyone talks of the vast weapons Tom has in is air & ground game and much of that is true but for 3 Qtrs, the afore mentioned Teams held them in check.

I'd love a Pats/Cowboys super bowl match after seeing these last couple of games. How awesome would it be for the Pats to go undefeated and lose the superbowl? That'll make some Cowboy fans pretty quick.
