Peterson was a shell his first year back, and Spikes still isnt the same. Ellis not only is playing at a very high level, he is have a career year

If he doesnt get Comeback Player of the Year, the NFL should discontinue the award

I didnt even expect him to play. Spikes sat almost half his first season back, and he tore his achilles early in the season, where Gregs was what week 10

Moss is a candidate, but people pretty much new when he went to NE he would be back to a Pro Bowl level. Ellis was pretty much left for dead

yeah but considering what he did last year, no one thought he would be close to setting the TD record receiving, that is above pro bowl level

Thats not what Im saying. Everyone knew Moss would an effective player again in NE. At his age, it was questionable wheather Ellis would ever even play fulltime again after his injury.

In the context of the award, Ellis should get it over Moss

Moss will probobly get it just because the media loves NE long time.

But IMO a guy the struggled because he didnt like playing for a team shouldnt win it.
