except Trufant didn't step on one of our own players last season. There's not only the problem of how he'd get along with the Cowboys but the fact that he's stepped on a dude in-game. He hasn't done anything since then but i still don't trust the guy.
It's one of those things I believe can be worked out. If Gurode would have a problem with it, then you wont see Haynesworth in Dallas. But that incident is something those two have talked about after it happened
I hope that JJ has gotten away from the "Charles Haley" signings. While it gets you head lines and your team will be all the buzz by the talking heads it is the draft that things need to be done. How many times did we see the Redskins go out and get big name after big name just to suck each year. Look at the Packers in the past two years they might have signed 3 FA. I would rather draft a CB in the first round than go after Trufant. Think of all the problems signing him would cause. Granted we would have one of the best groups of CB's in the NFL but do you think that Henry would be happy being a back up? When healthy he is still a good corner but he has had some health concerns the past few years so it makes sense to get some one that can help if he goes down again but not force himi to the bench. There has been talk about moving him to FS and even if we got rid of Williams and moved Hamlin over I would not trust that Henry could make it a season as a FS. So now you will have a unhappy Henry and Trufant will get a Hugh contract about what Clemons got last year then you will have to turn around and sign Newman the next year and he will want even more money than what Trufant got.
