Throw High To Harper proved everyone right
One of the more interesting moves the Cowboy's made last offseason was the hiring of Jason Garrett as the offensive coodinator. Garrett cam on board very highly regarded, but very inexprienced as a coach, coupled with the fact he had no playcalling expirience.
Many thought beforehand that Dallas may have found a true offensive guru. And IMO, they did
But many others thought he just did not have the expirience you want from your playcaller. garret was often refered to as "Greenhorn Garrett". And IMO, they were right.
To me Garrett proved himself to be a great offensive coach. A guy that know's exactly what do with his playmakers. Dallas's offense was a well oiled machine this year
But at times his inexpirience shown throw. The inabilty to run at times, and how they were not able to exploit a weakened Giants secondary is beside me.
Thats why I dont think he should take a HC job. He just isnt ready. He needs to grow as a playcaller before he can assume a HC's workload, and has little expirience in team management. I think he is a much better coach than Smoke and Mirrors Payton, but he still has alot of growing before he can take the next step
