I was thinking about the fact that we have so much depth at LB and DE. There's just a ton of options for the Cowboys in the next few months IMO.

The thig is we have a surplus of DE's with Spears, Canty Ratliff, Hathcher, and Johnson.

So it's possible that they may shop Spears, or try to get someone to bite on Canty's tender

Risk Hatcher or Canty not Spears, too much of a beast. But yeah, you guys have a lot of players to shop around. Everything except DB's especially if you guys move Roy Williams to LB.

I think Spears has the best trade value. He is better suited to be a 4-3 DT that Canty or Hatcher. Talent wise, Hatcher is the best out of all of them, he just has to be more stout against the run

I guess he does, he definitely has the best trade value. Hatcher does have more talent and he's younger so you guys have more time to groom him.

IDK, If we had someone better than Akin, or if James wasnt bad in coverage, I would say ya. Burnett is by far our best coverage LB

bleh, oh well. I just wish we could get something back for one of our Lbs..If only Carpenter was better, lol.

Im waiting one more year to write Carpenter off, tho I dont have any expectations. He got hurt in preseason, and is a guy that is slow to learn new systems
