Schefter: Pac Man deal immnent

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports a deal that would send suspended CB Pacman Jones to the Cowboys is imminent.
The Cowboys and Titans reportedly spent Thursday working out the deal. Tennessee is asking for a third-round pick, while Dallas is only offering a sixth-rounder. However, it won't be too hard to bridge that gap by making the pick conditional. Dallas appears confident Jones will be reinstated for 2008.

I wouldn't go for anything less than a 7th, so this sucks.

But we're going to meet them halfway from the 6th, so it looks like a 4th or 5th. That's not fodder in my book(altough the way we spend our 4ths, maybe it is, lol). |

I still just don't get it, he hasn't played in almost 2 years, never showed that he was keeping in shape or staying on top of football. You could have to carry 6 CB's just in case he flakes out. You guys have had some luck turning people around, how much do you want to push the envelope

he missed one full season, so I wouldnt call it 2 full years, that a bit overdramatic.
Im not a Pac Fan, but the dude is an elite talent, and if he pans out, that gives us the best CB duo in the NFL come January

Pacman started to show things in 2006, by the time the season starts he will not have played in 20 months, closer to 2 years than one. He has never been one to be known for dedication. I would just a little more skeptical before anointing him part of the best CB duo in the league.
