I think we should maybe try him at DE when ever we play a 4-3 defense. i know hes to small to play DE on 3-4 downs but in a 4-3 he could maybe make a big impact rushing the passer from the line. also this allows ellis to stay on the field. and have canty on the other side and ratliff and johnson in the middle.kind of out there but it could work.

what do you guys think??

We dont ever really play a "4-3" but we use a 4 man line in Nickle

Thats what I think Spencer is gonna do most this year, with either Ware or Ellis on the other side. You'll probobly have Ratliff and Bowen inside, especially if Tank is our full time NT

that what i ment in the nickel.
last year we had trouble with the down lineman getting to the qb on nickel downs and i think i good way to get spencer some more playing time is to put him on the line he has great speed and needs the experience.
