If they are going to be running Marion Barber 20 or 25 times a game, at his running style, he's not going to last long. I promise he's not going to be able to take this for another four years.

Do the Cowboys have to draft a running back to complement Barber?

You're going to need another back. There is a lot of uncertainty with Marion Barber. He's shown toughness, but I've seen some of the toughest of running backs that the wear and tear takes its toll on them.

You watched Earl Campbell take a beating in his career. Are there similarities?

I talked to Earl Campbell after a game. There was one play and Earl ran over three guys. After the game I said, 'Earl, why not just avoid that hit?' He said, 'Oh, Dorsett, they're talking that mess and I gotta get 'em back.' I said, 'Earl, on that one play, you took three hits, each one of them took one. How long do you think it's going to last?' But that was Earl Campbell. Earl was the biggest, baddest running back I ever laid my eyes on.
