Another defensive flopBroncos fall at Dallas 31-20Williams' grave needs our helpOwens' act sure to wear thin againIrving, Texas - After dealing with nagging injuries all training camp, the Broncos suffered a major injury Saturday night. Starting defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban appears to be lost for the season with an Achilles tear.

After the Broncos' 31-20 loss at Dallas, Denver coach Mike Shanahan said the initial reports are that Ekuban will be lost for the season. Ekuban was hurt early in the second quarter. He banged his hand to the turf and was assisted off the field. He was taken to the locker room on a cart.

"It's tough right now," Ekuban said, leaving the locker room on crutches.

The candidates to replace Ekuban are rookie Tim Crowder and veteran Kenard Lang.

Ekuban is a tough loss... but we all know whos #2 on the depth chart, the boy Jarvis Moss... its on him to step up

and durability has always been a problem with Trav Henry too, could be a sign of things to come.. if he stays healthy no way he doesnt top 1500 yards

I definitely agree with you on that. Henry's quite capable, but he just needs to quit getting hurt. This is his best opportunity yet, and he has to make good on it.

Im kinda POed about Bronco players whining about the fact that we didnt play vanilla. We are putting in a new scheme, and we have to get our players ready to play aggressivly. It would be nice if they could play vanilla the whole preseason, but they have to do some blitzes in a "real" game.
