As a pro, he'd never missed a game before 2005. He'd also never tried to play through a litany of injuries as long as the one he endured last year, as he fought through a dislocated shoulder and injured hamstring to notch a career-high eight interceptions while helping lead the Broncos to within one game of the Super Bowl.
Nevertheless, this is Bailey's eighth season, and even at just 28 years of age, he's feeling a few ravages of time.
"I try to stay the same but it's hard when you get older," Bailey said. "I find myself doing more exercises than normal, in terms of working more on little things on the field, because as you get older you get a little wiser and know what to expect from yourself on the field."
