Karl Paymah is poised for a breakout season as he dons the Broncos’ orange and blue for his second NFL training camp. The cornerback was selected by the Broncos of out Washington State in the third round (76th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. Paymah is competing for playing time among a talented backfield that features fellow second-year cornerbacks Domonique Foxworth and Darrent Williams - and Pro Bowler Champ Bailey.
Paymah had a solid rookie season on special teams, ranking second on the Broncos with 11 special-teams tackles and registering at least a share of the special-teams tackles lead in five games. He looks to improve upon his success on special teams and make his mark in the Broncos’ secondary.
