The Broncos officially turned the page Wednesday on their stalemate with wide receiver Ashley Lelie.
The Broncos players were back on the field for the first time since Tuesday, when three teams agreed to a trade that sent Lelie to Atlanta, Falcons running back T.J. Duckett to Washington and two Redskins draft picks to the Broncos.
"That's what he wanted," said Broncos wide receiver Rod Smith, whose locker was next to Lelie's at the team's Dove Valley complex. "I haven't talked to him yet - I will, but that's what he wanted. It took him a while to get it. I guess the club got what it felt was good compensation for us.
"But it's over. Nobody will have to deal with it any more."
