Default A puzzle to Shanahan

In his first public comments since the team traded receiver Ashley Lelie to the Atlanta Falcons, Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said Thursday he remains surprised Lelie took such a hard-line stance about playing for Denver this season.

"I really believe somewhere down the line he got some bad advice," Shanahan said. "Ashley wasn't like that, he wasn't like that the four years he was here, I don't know why. This happened way before we even thought about talking to Javon (Walker). . . . I just really can't figure out why he went in that direction, but I wish him well."

Lelie passed a physical and practiced with the Falcons on Thursday, wearing No. 15. He will line up as the Falcons' third receiver, behind Michael Jenkins and Roddy White.

he must have gotten some bad advice because he left a team that should make the playoffs and went to a team team that probally won't.

I really still wondering why a guy who only pulled down one TD last year and who obviously won't go over the middle is holding out to be traded to a team where he'll be #1 WR. With his stats and attitude he pretty much won't be #1 WR on any team. His speed is the only thing that really keeps his job. Just my opinion.

K Train I don't know much about him but it sounds like he will not get much of a chance to run deep playing 3rd string?
