Post Owens on the move

TO will be meeting with the Broncos. I don't like this move by teh Broncos. Sure they could use his talent, but he could really hurt this team with his attitude. If they sign him i say bad move by Denver.

We all knew it would be either Dallas or Denver. I'd rather have him with the Broncos because I don't mind it when they win. I HATE when Dallas wins.

There was stuff going on with TO for years before he left most were aver looked because the team let him get away with it. In Philly people were looking for him to cause trouble and it did not take him too long to make it.

It looks like the Broncos also want to get Ricky Williams from the Dolphins. It seems like Denver is trying to make the final push to get over the top and win another SB. I dont know if there is a time crunch or if Mike is just worried about loosen his job.

Owens...What can I say about him? He's a GREAT player if you baby him and put up with his childish behavior. He's nothing more than a one year player with any team. If Denver is looking for someone to come in for 1 year to push them "over the top" it he would be a good fit. If they are looking for a player to be with them for more than a year, they should look elsewhere.

From Fanball.com:

February 8, 2006 1:23 PM ET
Broncos: Rod comments on T.O.

The News
Several Broncos have alluded to the veteran presence of leaders like Rod Smith as evidence that Denver can handle Terrell Owens, but in his first public discussion about the situation, Smith downplayed that notion. "One person can't influence a grown man," Smith told the Denver Post. "You just can't expect one person to have that type of control or influence on a person. I'm for anything that helps the team, and if that would help the team, I'd be for it. I wouldn't have a problem with it."

Our View
Finally, a voice of reason. Owens couldn't be handled by the Eagles, one of the most professional organizations in the NFL, so Smith is correct to point out that if Owens wants to cause trouble, he will. It simply comes down to whether T.O.'s elite talent outweighs the risk of his attitude.

I just had to post that, there's a lot of this "well (fill in name here) can control him and if he went to blah they could handle him" This is so overrated the guy will do what he wants when he wants and being an Eagles fan I hope the league black balls him and makes and example of him.
