The league has clamped down on off-field misbehavior under Commissioner Roger Goodell. But the new personal conduct policy "generally covers criminal violations, not civil matters" such as Henry's, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.

The NFL suspended him four games in 2005 for violating the substance abuse policy.

Henry signed a five-year, $22.5 million free agent contract with the Broncos this offseason after the Titans released him in a cost-cutting move.

I think if the Team was willing to lend it to him, then it's between the team and him, unless he doesn't pay it back

He shouldnt face any sactions from the NFL, that would just be going too far IMO
