Default Draft their way to a winner

http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/...y-to-a-winner/

As we get closer to the end of a meaningless last two weeks of the Broncos season, it is time to look to the future. And in the NFL, the future starts with the draft.

Heading into the weekend the 6-9 Broncos look like they are in position to draft between picks 10-12. That should be good enough to get a stallion player.

And the Broncos need about three stallions on defense. Denver will need to get a new quality starter on each layer of the defense.

It is unlikely the Broncos can do it all in the draft, but they have to snag some quality players in the early rounds.

In the first round, Denver needs to seriously look at the best available defensive tackles, linebackers and safeties. Among the players Denver will look at are USC defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis, Miami defensive end Calais Campbell, Miami safety Kenny Phillips, Penn State linebacker Dan Connor, Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis, North Carolina defensive tackle Kentwan Balmer and USC linebacker Keith Rivers.

[b]obviously Lauranaitis is out of the picture now
